Winter Junior coaching Application Forms now online

With winter almost upon us we will be looking at running a host of training sessions in the coming months leading up to December.

The following application forms are now available for booking and paying directly online.

Provisional Laser Winter Coaching dates: Sunday training to start from October the 23rd, 30th –  November 6th and 13th, 20th and 27th.

Winter coaching programme which will run on Sundays starting in October and running up to early December hopefully finishing with a regatta weather permitting in early December. This club coaching is open to all our members. Further details on this will be issued shortly with the first date being Sunday 23rd October rigged and ready for 12:30-noon to approx. 16:00hrs. Hot food will be provided after sailing.

Mid Term – Preliminary Dates: Saturday 29th October-Tuesday 1st November from the George.

We are delighted that Dennis Paaske will be the lead coach for this. Dennis is a leading international coach with 20-years’ experience who has previously coached optimist and international laser class in Ireland. He has been involved in coaching both US and Danish Olympic laser sailors. His recent focus has been running Olympic campaigns with Marie Rindom (Denmark Rio Bronze medalist) and Monica Mikola (Finland) who has won 3-world championships 2 times U19 and 1 U 21) and who hopes to sail in Tokyo 2020. Dennis will be assisted by a local coach (TBC).
